Moving the Spotlight was created in partnership with Mazda to give emerging, underrepresented filmmakers and their stories a once-in-a-lifetime shot at Tribeca Film Festival 2024. The featured films were from independent filmmakers with no formal studio backing. Seven filmmakers were selected to premiere their films at a Moving the Spotlight awards show @NeuHouse NYC. WE HIJACKED THE CITY WITH MEDIA & FIRST TO MARKET LASER PROJECTIONS TO AMPLIFY & OFFICIALLY PUT THIER NAMEs IN LIGHTS!

Exceptional Craftsmanship: WHEN EVERYTHING BURNS - Written and Directed by Maria Belen Poncio.

Most Moving Narrative: LEADING MAN - Directed by Whitney Houser and Amanda Michaels. Written by Whitney Houser.

Challenger Spirit: STUD COUNTRY - Directed by Lina Abascal and Alexandra Kern

Unlocking Brand Hype with Paid Media: To amplify the program we took over social channels with a Moving the Spotlight teaser, live interviews & content and to top it off unleashed Laser Projection OOH. This was a first of it’s kind OOH activation at the festival and allowed us to secure premium inventory at a fraction of the cost. To surprise the winners, we used a real time creative rotation to congratulate them, play their films in our ads and put their name in lights for the very first time. What a win!
